Dashboard trim

For some reason, Bridget’s dashboard came without the expected chrome trim and windlace called for by the BCW build book. It’s a nice piece of wood–walnut by the looks of it–but seems incomplete.

I got a nice bit of chrome-look fender welt from JC Whitney or similar. $17 or so. Loosened the screws holding the dash on, cut triangles out of the welt so it can conform to the curves, and slid it in:

Did the same for the center cluster–which is lightweight fiberglass on Bridget instead of chromed brass, as on original TDs. I like the brass ones better but this will do for now.
