Hadn’t driven Bridget all week so I hopped in the car and ran over to Lowes Friday night to see who was about.
Another beauty evening with light winds and temps in the low 70s. I pulled in looking for the “British contingent” (which doesn’t exist) and ended up parked behind a couple of square ’80s VWs with stickers on them saying stuff like “Hater’s ‘ll hate.”
The truck guys are getting creative.
I took a couple shots of B in the crowd–one with a ’50s background:
And one with the German stuff all around.
That blue Bug looked pretty interesting. Guy and his son. Unlike a lot of people there, he recognized bridget as kindred right away.
On the way out I spotted Bruce and Norma arriving in the white Porsche. I turned around to shoot the shit with them for a few minutes. The Lowes photographer wanted a shot of our cars together, but we were parked a ways apart. Too bad. That would have been a cool shot.
